I've never had to camera match before and I'm not good at it haha.

I need my room to match this picture exactly www.rinehart-design.com/young girls room.tiff

Basically all I've tried to do was match up the room and the bookcase. I just don't see how to get the same perspective as in that shot.

First you need to get rid of the lens distortion in it.
Then try to guess the elevation of the camera from the floor(seems at 1/2 height of the door). Then I'd start by modeling something like the bookshelf and put it where it should be in the room and start pan the camera to match one corner without thinking to match the others. when done, I'd create a locator, put it exactly on that corner, parent the camera to it then start rotating the locator and play with the focal length until you get as close as possible match.
Of course, this assuming you don't have information about the camera on the set.

Maybe it's the lens distortion that is throwing me off.

I'm not sure I understand why you'd rotate the locator the camera is parented to? What does this accomplish, so that I know what I'm doing and why I'm doing it :)?

is there any way to get that sort of lens distortion on in my final render? This is suppose to look like a Webcam type camera after all.
