CGTalk - Final Gather Map doesn't show up

View Full Version : Final Gather Map doesn't show up

Hi:
I'm looking into Final Gather for the first time.
When I render with "Enable Map Visualizer" turned on, the FG Map doesn't show up in my viewport.
I'm using Maya 2008. The "mapViz1" node is created. Any idea why I don't see it?

Yes maya 2008 without service pack have a bug in mapviz, set the folder as c:\documents&set\maya\project(your)\renderdata\mentalray\photonmap\yourmap.pmap

Or a script to resolve this problem is on mymentalray.com
