Hello,

In Photoshop, there is the "color" layer mode, in which you can fill one layer with whatever color you want and set its layer mode (aka blending mode) to "color" and then, all layers below it will be shaded in that color; is there a way to achieve the same effect in C4D? For instance, I would like to do short animations in different shades of colour so is there some kind of setting that lets me do that?

thanks,
tom

you can either have a plane in front of the camera that's got a transparency set to whatever color you want (no other channels active). or if you've got the compiled sdk there's a colourize post effect in there i believe.

What about a layer of hue from a hue and sat shader set to to overlay etc ?:)
