CGTalk - transfer pivot point?

Hi guys,

There's this wonderfully easy tool called transfer. It lets you do all kinds of things, but as far as I know, it won't let your transfer a pivot of an object (for instance a group) to the pivot point of another object.

Is there an automated way of moving pivot points around? Perhaps some kind of intelligent way of using the Move axis tool?

One way is to make a nullobject and transfer it to the objects in question. Then put your second object in the null and use the null as pivot point.

That doesn't move the axis, it just creates an extra hierarchy level. But of course it works :)

Select both the null and the object and make a "Connect" and you have it.
