Before all was Chaos, clocked in darkness and confusion. From his formless void emerged Gaea who created a starry cloak to cover her and and the mountains, plains, rivers and the great Oceans to nourish her. From her sprang the Gods and Humans and all life.

interesting background. very good. is this matt painted? I like the filmy cloak over the woman, and her wings are nice. good job.

The background was painted from photo references, but several elements were made using Lightwave particle effects.
