Long render times ensue. Oh well you can get ome nice effect I esspecially like the ambient occulsion...Though I think I'll find a way to do it without the long rendertimes :p

it's a mental ray node, which will become available in hypershade (maya) after the install.

Thanks! There a a few SSS shaders i've installed and i forget if their for Maya Software render, or Mental Ray!
Does this shader plug into an Ambient, or is it a stand alone setup?
Doese anyone have the ICON for this? it shows up in the shelf, but not in the shader list.

Has anyone tried this out? I was unable to find a gallery of examples. It looks really cool, but I don't have the time to test it.
