Greetings--
I'm trying to setup the SS2 eye rig from Jason Osipa, but have a naming problem for my polySurfaceShape1 objects. I hit the eyes button and it is finding multiple objects in my scene labeled polySurfaceShape1. I am having trouble searching for these hidden labels in my huge scene... This is after I have all my blends set and cannot find the names in my outliner. Modify search/replace would seem to work if I could only rename them with a suffix consecutively 1, 2, 3... but can't get that to work. Is there an easy way to locate them with a search command and then manually rename them? Thanks!

My command line reads: // Error: More than one object matches name: polySurfaceShape1

Okay I just had to dig deep and rename my left and right skeleton bones that were duplicates. Now it works fine. Still would be cool to search a simple text and be able to manually edit each one, though!

Hi,

You can use the 'select by name' box to select 1 or more objects with the same name.

No way! Thanks, Matt, for the smooth tip. I had to realize to toggle the button >found it under Absolute Transform. Great, and I also learned it didn't work like I wanted, unless I add a * before and after. For instance, if I'm searching for all spotlights in my scene, I would have to type *spotlight* and this would select them all despite prefixes, etc. Grazie.
