*************** ABOUT 'nurbsData 1.0' ***************

NURBS WIREFRAME AND COMPONENTS RENDERER
nurbsData post-process rendering node Plug-In allows Maya users
to render NURBS (curves and surfaces) wireframe and components
in software rendering.

nurbsData is the first tool for a 3D package that allows Modellers,
Architects, Graphic and Industrial Designers to render truly 3D-shaded,
anti-aliased, constant-thickness Non-Uniform-Rational-Basis-Spline
(NURBS) wireframe. It supports full NURBS curves and surfaces
wireframe as well as full NURBS curves and surfaces components
(Trim Edges/Hulls/Control Vertices/Edit Points/Patches Centers/
Normals and Origins).
nurbsData's unique and state-of-the-art engine renders high-quality
splines as well as is able to sample every Maya shader/shading
network in order to shade them.

Since nurbsData works as a post-process rendering node in Maya, it
accesses to the frame buffer to render, this feature allows the user to
mix backgrounds, solids, wireframe and components, avoiding the
compositing in another package. Its renderer also supports Hidden-Line
computation in order to draw wireframe and components over the solids.
nurbsData provides a wide range of attributes to control the colors,
transparencies, patterns, shapes and thicknesses of the wireframe
and components per NURBS object.

nurbsData is easy to use and is fully integrated in Maya's environment,
users don't have to worry about any double/extra settings, every
Maya NURBS display/viewport change is automatically reflected into
the nurbsData rendering. Its rendering is stable, fast and accurate.

Martin

I've been waiting for this one.. already downloaded the 7-day trial and I love it. Exactly what I needed to make the wireframe presentations I've wanted.

I expect this will become a mandatory part of my Maya arsenal :)

Thanks provide3d guys.

Mike
