View Full Version : MIA Material
Mrguy 04-25-2009, 09:03 PM So I've come across this http://forums.cgsociety.org/showthread.php?f=87&t=487340 and also a few other sites that have pre-made MIA Materials, but are there any sites or tutorials that talk about the MIA Material and how to make one for certain surfaces? I keep seeing it poping up in a few renders, more recently with marlaS's work (http://marlas.cgsociety.org/gallery/) and I'm sure everyone knows http://www.floze.org/2008/07/six-tuts-on-light-and-shade-part-i.html and he also uses MIA shaders.
So in a nut shell, how can I learn more about this shader and make my own MIA shaders?

You can find that here: Link (http://www.mentalimages.com/fileadmin/user_upload/PDF/arch_and_design.pdf)
