I was wondering if someone could help me out with my .blend project. I just started learning Blender and i've watched 5 or 10 tuts but haven't been able to figure out how to accurately position lighting/camera/object. I wanting to have some reflective silver words come slowly out of darkness into the dramatic light towards the camera for about 5 or 6 seconds and then fall back into the darkness.

If anybody could/would help me I would greatly appreciate it.

I've uploaded my .blend file to here: http://www.2shared.com/file/5484498/854315a7/OCULUS_STUDIOS.html

Thank you guys for your help again.

Warmest,
Brock

Hi brock2621

Use the G key for transformations.
G followed by x,y,z or -x,-y,-z will constrain the movement to those axis.
G followed by x,y,z,-x,-y,-z plus typing a number on the main keyboard (not the numeric pad) will give you accuracy.
In object mode pressing the N key will bring up the transform properties.
Look through the camera with the 0 key on the numeric pad.
Frame your object in the camera view with cntl, alt, 0

You can track the camera to an empty. In object mode deselect everything and add an empty with spacebar, add, empty.
Now select your camera, hold down shift and select the empty followed by cntl t and choose track to constraint.
Now when you press the G key the camera will always follow the empty.

Hope that helps.
