That is really nice--the form of the cat is just right, and I like how you built up the shape of the cat with interesting brushstrokes. It looks a little like a woodcut print this way! I bet she liked the final picture, too:)

nice. great foundations for the cat. good use of brush strokes, and brush type, to make up the values and textures. nice job. I love cats.
