View Full Version : confused about LayerdTextures, mutilple UVsets
womanonfire 07-14-2003, 06:14 PM Friends, is it possible to have the layers of a layered texture refer to different UVsets? for example: the whole sphere uses the default set and then half the sphere is mapped with a new UVset and the texture that applies to that half is layered on top of the first with a blend mode?

or say: i have a shadow map that i want separate from the color layer .... i need to map the object in one uv set but then have another with the shadow on it and it needs to be mapped differently yet still blend in with the color. make sense??
