Join Gnomon School of Visual Effects (http://www.gnomonschool.com), the VES, AAUGA and RFX for an exceptional evening with special guests from Digital Domain (http://www.digitaldomain.com/) showing how they created the stunning effects and imagery for The Making of The Curious Case of Benjamin Button.
For The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, Digital Domain created a 100% 3D CG version of Brad Pitt’s head that carries the lead character’s performance for fifty-two minutes of the movie – over 325 shots.
Guest speakers from Digital Domain include Steve Preeg, Character Supervisor, Jonathan Litt, Lighting Supervisor, and Paul Lamberdt, Compositing Supervisor.
