Hi everyone ive been trying to track a book that deals in character textures like the example below..

It is a great example of how to do faces but I was wondering if anyone knows of a book that explains or even a video tutorial? Ive got Maya advance Texturing and Lighting book but it doesnt go into enough detail. I want a better understanding of spec maps. normals etc..
