Wow. Great variety of figures and characters. nice dynamics in the composition with where they're laid out and positioned. Great style for the painting. Well done.

Great style. It looks like a James Jean's work ... and it's big compliment ^^

Frontpage work. This is a nice break from the norm and is beautifully rendered.
Great work man.

Both awesome and amazing! Love the technique and the absurd amount of detail without being too "busy". It has a great, dynamic flow.

Thanks for taking a look everyone.
As for the questions.
I drew a detailed drawing on paper then scanned it with the texture and all. Then start to paint it as if it were an oil painting. Transparent at first to preserve the drawing, then opaque at the end for highlights.
This took me about 40 hours to do all together. A little bit everyday after work or on weekends. I am trying to spend a little more time and care on my new paintings instead of just banging them out all the time. More fun to see how a painting evolves over a longer time period.
And it was not for an editorial piece. Just some therapeutic painting outside of the 9-5 stuff.
Thanks guys :]
