View Full Version : Okay finally bought it today

I bought it at a computer show for $199.99 it'll get shipped to me in 2 days. I paid it off and gave out all my info and I just barely realized that the guy did not ask me if I wanted it for Mac or PC. Are both versions included in the package I'll be receiving just wondering. I'm a little nervous now but i wrote down my number also so I guess they'll call if they find a problem with my order.

The guys handwriting is hard to read so I don't know what he wrote down either.

Well my CD says Windows and Macintosh so I think you are OK

If you install the version that comes on the CD it might be 9.5. Be sure to go to the Hash site and download the 10.5 upgrade.

I am planning on purchasing A:M tonight from DV Direct.

On DV direct, is the version they are selling 10.5? and is it a student version?

I just ordered it online... but didn't ask if it was 10.5. :hmm: I figure it should be the newest version.. A:M 2003. But if I need to update to 10.5, I can just download it from their site.

Are you asking if I got it for a student discount?
When ordering, they didn't ask me for any student proof..

Does A:M even have a "student version"?

Yea they do, and you can even do commercial work with it.

There's no difference between student and regular versions. Hash just wanted to cut students a break, and if they want to make some money using it they can.

Mine from DV Direct was not a student version, was the current version at the time and was cheaper than the list price at the time by something like $50.
