View Full Version : adding bones to an object after skinning?

Hey all,
I would really appreciate any help that you could provide I have been rigging a pretty complicated character in 3DS 5.1 and have stupidly forgotten to add bones in the characters thumbs. I am kind of new to max. Is there a way I can add them, so they will work with skin and deform the character.

Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

ummm.
Maybe i'm reading your question wrong but, couldn't you just click the "add" bone button in the skin modifier. :shrug:
