CAClark 07-13-2003, 11:41 PM I've updated this a little recently, my other thread got stuffed by the temorary demise of LWG.
Anyway, feedback or whatever you feel appropriate please!

Cool model. I like how the cockpit is connected to the hips/base.... so it can tilt more. Nice touch.
The suction cup feet take away it's fearsomeness, though. Looks like a toy with that on the feet.
Please keep us updated. I love mech designs.

Nice work. Id have to agree about the feet, they look too much like suction cups. Other then that its a great looking model and I cant wait to see it animated!:buttrock:
looks great, and the feets are just correct, I guess you're using this (http://www.johnwallin.net/bilder/mechlake.jpg) as reference :p

Thanks guys! Appreciate the feedback.
The jury is out on the feet, they look kinda dumber than they look on John Wallins painting (yep infi, I'm building all Johns mechs). I may just rebuild them with the same design, or make more weighty alternative? His look good though, so mine should too really damnit! :scream:
Anyways, I will update again soon I hope.
Thanks again

Ya know... for a swampy environment, those are great foot designs. I never thought of that.
They would be tougher to get around a cityscape with those, so I guess you'll have to model the swamp, too, if you want to sell the idea. ;)
Good job.

I'd like to do the jungle environment as well, but we'll see... I seem to always run out of time just making the main model!
