Hello Community,
I want to present you my Rigging-Demo which I made from my first good rig. I made this rig for an Online-Animation for Bosch AG. The Rig was changed a lot due to the animationprozess. I think now the state is quite good and its fun to animate it. I didn´t add Facemorphs jet, because it was not needed. But I will work on it.
By the way: Its made with Cinema4D and MOCCA3. My Xpresso-skills improved a lot on this project, too. I guess i will keep going in Rigging. It is really fun and quite challenging. My next step is to make a funny Animation and practice a lot animation...which is what I really love.

Maybe you have some adivices or critics for this reel?

Howdy,

Nice job.

I noticed at one point in video, when you moved the arm, it looked like it may have a slight priority issue?

Adios,

Hey Cactus Dan, Thank you for your critic. I see what you mean. But I checked it again and cant see a priority-Problem. I think in my reel there happend something I cant say. But when I move the controller normally everythng is ok. No tremor.

Greetings, Holger

Howdy,

It could've just been the screen capture. ;)

Adios,

One of these days, you gurus will have to make a solid tutorial about rigging for stuff like that. I'm talking a start to finish process, explaining why things should be built a certain way.

The foot control- the part where I saw the small rectangle being pushed up and the toes reacted - was sheer genius.

That's a very impressive Rig! Congrats

Thanks Vankmann,

Well, The footcontroller was quite complex, yes. But the thing that i am more prowd of is the ability to scale the Rig. Therefore I had to build a quite complex Xpresso-setup which calculates every offset and distance with the scaling-factor and reconects all the links in the constraints.

Wow, it's so cool to see that there are finally some people who really can rig in C4D :)
Congratulations, it looks like a very nice rig.

Maybe I missed it... but is there a switch to animate the arms in FK?

Glückwunsch, liebe Grüsse, Oli

Hey Oli, Thanks. You are right. That is something still missing at this rig. I will make it soon.
Viele Grüße auch ;-)
