Hello everyone! This is my first thread post, do be gentle lol
This week in my Animation class we're learning to jump. I'm attempting a few different types and so far have two. One is a very basic jump done from my very holy literature Animators Survival Kit and the second is a failing attempt at jumping off a diving board. For both of them I had used the character Animo provided by the Digital Tutors walk cycle package.
Here is the link to the first one : http://www.vimeo.com/4229926
For the basic jump I had followed the 37 frame standing position jump illustrated on pages 214-215 of the book in case anyone has that and wants a closer look at my reference.
Link to the second : http://www.vimeo.com/4229735
For this one, I had used this video ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fjHtFzFmCkM ) as my reference. It's not quite done yet, I have to add some extra motion to the arms and legs at the end, maybe have him flail a little lol
But, there it is, let me know what you think so far and expect some more videos to come!
