What's with the huge white space?

Anyways, here's what I disliked:

The colours are too tame.

The guy in the middle looks weird, and not good-weird. =/

Cool picture, i actually really like the white. My only suggestion to make the white not stick out as much, is have the smoke and the sky merge more slowly, so you don't have as definate of a line between the sky and the white.

Other than that, great work!
