i know lightwave's got a feature similar to this, & i was just wondering if maya had a similar memory manager. i assumed she just uses the max amount of ram available, but lately maya's been running a bit slow (on relatively light scenes) & im on a high end machine... (w/ win xp)

On win XP....
u can change of Virtual memory as much as u want:)
just go to

My computer>press ALT+enter>Advanced>the first setting>advanced>change>see it u will understand:wavey:
