View Full Version : Camera Projection Baking

I am having trouble baking my projected textures. When a textured is baked,it is baked as a UV map. But when I bake a texture mapped with the UVProject modifier, the texture doesn't bake properly. It doesn't even bake onto the whole map, just the center of it. Can anyone shed some light on this?

I had a similar problem, too. It seems like it's just not possible.
However, a workaround that worked would be to use an empty and apply your texture via object mapping. That can be baked OK.

oh cool, thanks.
but the solution that was pointed out to me was to have multiple UVs. Instead of camera mapping the texture you map it with a uv unwrapped from view; then you bake it onto your real uv.
