View Full Version : How Do You Turn Off Blue Guide When Using Split Edge

I'm switching back to XSI after 4 years.

When I use tools like Split/Add Edge in subdiv mode I get a blue guide that represents that region of the poly cage. I find this troublesome.

How do I get rid of this blue guide so that the red indicator will appear directly on the yellow isoline?

The last time I used XSI was version 5.0. I remember a preferences entry that allowed me to do this.

Can someone remind me where that is? Thanks!

You could turn hulls on. select your subd mesh and hit ctrl + Numeric +

thanks for your reply...

i don't want anything obstructing my view of the subdiv mesh while i'm working... that mean i don't want so see hulls (poly cage) or that blue guide...

this used to be possible as far as i can remember... did they remove this feature?
