Working on a few cycles in my spare time, looking for crits on this one in particular:

First Pass: http://www.vimeo.com/4161925

Things to do:
- Go over arcs (it's a bit jerky at the moment)
- Overlap pass (exaggerate where necessary, still feels like the limbs are syncing up too much)
- Head bob/overlap

Second pass on the Run Cycle:

Comments welcome.

On the todo list:
- Smooth our arcs on the back arm and leg
- Add overlap to the head
- Get more "weight" out of the front leg push off. Feels like a spacing issue that I need to tweak.

I'm liking the run so far. It has a real nice cartoony feel, especially with that exaggerated lean. My biggest concern right now however, is that it doesn't seem like he is translating from side to side that much when he is running. With such big strides, he would have to put some serious weight on the opposite foot when he pushes off. That's all I have to say right now though. Good start though. I lookforward to seeing it progress :D

Thanks for the comments dan! Finished my third pass. Still in a long queue for Vimeo, but uploaded it to youtube for a quick view. Any thought or feedback appreciated :D
