Hey all,
I'm new to the Maya/Mel world and have just shifted after using XSI for a long time. In XSI I had developed a tool where in I could store all keyable local transforms of rig controls (based on naming conventions) and save the animation as a .eani format (a format in XSI which lets you specify animation data filters like start end frame; local/world space etc.) Was wondering if there is a similar format in Maya or alternatively whats my best approach if I had to transfer animation between different rigs based on control/ attribute names and local transforms.
Any help is greatly appretiated.
Cheers,
Vikram.
