View Full Version : Problem importing from maya

I have this problem I hope someone can help me with.. When importing my character from Maya to Motionbuilder. The model is seperated from the skeleton (see picture).

I can characterize and input other animations and it will follow but the skinning is reaaally wierd like the model still has the pivot on the skeleton.

Any help is appriciated! ;)

Without the Maya file, it's hard to tell however it may be related to the transformation history.. if you post the Maya File I will take a look at it.

did you move the original pivot point? I had this prob. before and it turned out that the problem, for me, was that I'd moved the original pivot point. MB hates that!!!
