I'm trying to learn camera projection and am using Cinema 4D but I#m having some trouble in finding the right perspective. I'm doing an alley shot and I started with the ground plane. I could align the side lines ok. Then I built the sides walls based on that alignment, meaning the base of the side walls are aligned with the side lines of the ground. it looks perfect from the camera perspective, but if I orbit around, the base of the buildings are not even touching the ground side lines, they are actually much wider or farther apart than it seem from the camera perspective. does that mean my perspective alignment is off and once i move the camera everything will get off alignment or is it normal and it has only to work from the camera's perspective?
I'm also having a hard time finding the vanishing point and determining the placement of the horizon line in pictures.
Thanks for any help.
