LoneRobot 04-14-2009, 06:40 PM Hello Chums,
I just posted a short article with a download of a struct for using PDFSharp to build PDF documents in max -

Cool, not sure how or why I would ever want to do that but cool none the less.

Hi Paul, :)
I agree the application is limited, but wanted to share anyway as I thought PDFSharp was a great piece of open source programming.
My thoughts for other uses were to allow a dynamic help file generation within a script, or even somehow generating PDF documents from a shot database (perhaps to track the current state of a production or episode).
But mostly, it was to allow me to create something a little more than just a text file from within max.
The best thing is that if you want, you can :)
Maybe it's usefull for generating API docs, or function definition DOCtype docs.
Scan over your maxscript lib and built a nice readable/printable reference of all your hard work :)
Thanks for posting!!

Thanks for posting this! I just recently realized the vast amount of free dotNet stuff out there which we can all use directly in MAXScript.. - well, better late than never. ;)

Hi Martin,
I often think the same - I see something cool, and think "I wonder how I can port that into max!" :)
BTW, love your Gizmo control script!
