Going to try my hand at some high poly modeling with my Demon Princess entry Furia. If the name Furia is already taken I'll change her name to Ruth or something. Anyway, I'm going for kind of a power ranger/ Jaspion (for my Brazilian homies) type villain character.

Well, I sent my junk in after a rough weekend and here's the presentation shot. I really didn't like my beauty shot but I was limited on time and didn't know what time I'd get home tonight. Here's a few shots of the final.

I just got further along on teh helmet and wings so I thought I'd put them up. Her wings and butt are begging for poly's. I'm almost at the limit and have to choose wisely which areas I use get last bit of it. Still a good amount of work to do especially on the textures. I'll also do something about those leather wings.

I was thinking of doing a human form of her but scratched that with the quickness. That's why there's that human face there if yer wonderin.

Some ugly early concepts. I was thinking of doing cyborg first and did a bunch of sketches but decided to go team demon in the end.

Nice concepts, I especially like the ones in #2 with the headpiece that connects at the top.

Thanks for the comments. Just thought I'd post some progress of the mesh. Still a lot of work to do and I want to make sure the base mesh really solid before doing teh high poly. I probably won't make her as muscular as the concept but might exaggerate her proportions a bit more.

Man, I love your drawings! Great, great concepts in a very decent and clean style.

Very well done polygon layout as well. I just can go with Untamed and really look foreward for some crazy detailing. I like the horn-helmet shape the most.

Finally I have something new to show. The due dates coming soon so I'm gonna have to cram this last week. There's some funkiness going on with some of the normals but I should have it fixed soon.

I've been literally learning how to use Zbrush the right way and I've been doing more studying then work. I should be puttig more updates soon.

was that a cheap bump or what? :)

she's lookin hawt. i'd like to see her wings with a more dramatic sweeping shapes. they're a little too "functional" right now.

I am really enjoying this piece, great concept and model. The costume really stand out on this.

Like I said earlier I really rushed to get everything in but heres the "Beauty shot." Looking at it now its really bright on my home monitor. Bah.
