Hello everyone. I heard there was a war going on so I came to contribute. I am creating a norm warlord chief king.

Story

Basically there is an alien tribe that lives in a post-apocalyptic swamp. The natives resemble an amphibian or salamander like being called Urodelian. The Village is built on top of a gem mine which the natives have learned to manipulate the gems into weapons and tools. The mine has also aided in protecting the village from attack. The gems posses certain magical properties that the natives have been able to amplify for various uses. It has come in handy when facing the machines, which the natives call "immortals," that threaten to take the village and its magical mine. Rua is the son of the current chief king. His father is getting very old and Rua is next in line. The natives have not elected him chief king yet because he is still young and has not been tested. Coatl is the village hero. Armed with his ancient magical gem axe, he is the only warrior that has destroyed a machine. Everytime there was word of an attack Coatl was on the front line. He inspires hope and brings the village together. Rua feels like the village should elect Coatl for the next chief king, but Coatl doesn't have the mind nor the blood of a king. One day the machines start their attack and Coatl is killed in the battle. The chief king is too old and weak to fight. Someone must rise to the occasion or the village wil be lost. Can Rua past this test and become the new chief king?

This is a working story so I will solidify it later. Here are some sketches of the character.

yes he will pass the test! no doubt in my mind, cool story. I like the whole idea, and on the artistic side, somthing I-ve been learning is to always look for more. I know we don-t have much time but if you can try and take your original idea a little further, you might be pleasantly suprised how far your original idea can go and better it self. all the best hermano!
