here is my first 3d car, been working on it for over 2 months now on and off... still need to create actual headlights and redo the rims.. maybe make the tires darker ? here is the progress...

modeled and rendered in Cinema 4D XL 8 - started using it a few months ago and before that only used max for a few months and lightwave for 3 months - very rarely, so if any of you still doubt that Cinema is not a high end package you're very wrong; try it and you will see...

Coming along very well for a first car model.
There seems to be a wave in the hood surface though, and a few ripples around the lights areas.
About Cinema4D, I saw a quick movie a week back where an electrical plug was modeled in Cinema4D and was quite impressed by it, although I don't know anything about the software.

The HDRI rendering is very cool indeed. However you definately need to fix the 'unstable' areas around the headlights, wavy hood, and somewhat odd overall proportion.
Have you not worked on this much recently? Because I have seen you starting new posts with the same model without much progress! :shrug:

Well it's a very well done model considering it's your first time modelling car...
