Hello everyone,
I will leave the description for later due to lack of time so all I can present you right now is the following sketch of my demonlord. Hopefully, it will be updated very soon.

Oh yeah … and as always I wish good luck to everyone!

Huvvah, that's an eye-bender. I'm not particularly well-versed in these kinds of things, but I got this instinctive notion that it'd probably be grander and more impressive if it was, like... well, a really, really big thing, built up of a whole bunch of bodies. This one I feel is a bit... well... it feels a bit too small, too round, too... well, not very menacingly demon-y, really. So's my impression, anyhow. Perhaps you'd prefer to keep it on this scale; I just think it'd be wicked to see something... dragon-y* built up out of a hundred different bodies all twisted and deformed together!

Otherwise, if keeping with this sorta scale, well, maybe it'd get more spiffy were one to add all sorts of ornaments or armour to the body. This being, after all, a demon lord.

*I've got a thing for putting -y:s after everything. I call it being y-y.

I have to agree with EmReu. To me this is a great Abomination design, really cool - but as a demonlord it doesn't work really.

However I'm really keen on seeing where you take this!

EmReu (http://forums.cgsociety.org/member.php?u=366765), DefiledVisions (http://forums.cgsociety.org/member.php?u=316241) thanks about your comments. Although, what I have in mind works perfectly as a demon lord, maybe it feels different than the most common and standard vision about it. But I think, that’s not a bad sign especially when this makes us different in terms of concepts etc.

Anyway, here is the promised update;

http://img244.imageshack.us/img244/8376/dwconcept2resized.jpg

that’s the hand of the demon lord. What streams out of its mouth is actually paper which is used for depicting the darkness itself. In other words that is his tool for summoning his daemonic fusion power which obviously will be darkness/death

Very nice design ! Looks a bit like an Abomination yeah, but a different approach of the Demon Lord is a good thing. Think about something to show the scale, it would make it more menacing.

Keep up !

Yes this i like, :applause:very good start you got here. I can see the potential in your creation,
and original to, i think that its a good thing you taking the demon lord in a new approach.
The only thing i have to say about changes is that the handhead and the forearm is a bit seperated at the moment, it kinda looks as if the handhead is being held up by a smaller hand, but that might be what you intended :)

Im very interested to see where you go from here..

cheers!!!..

Hello dude,

I really love the way you paint your character ! It looks really cool :)

What kind of program do you use for painting ? Photoshop or painter ?

Thanks for all the comments and suggestions!

Abrvpt: I was thinking about scale and some samples of human-size creatures, but unfortunately I forgot to include it in the main sketch. But definitely it will be in the conceptsheet. Thanks about your suggestion. :)

Kennethhalvorsen:Thanks to you too, however, I have a long road ahead of me so many things will be changed.

alexy: I am glad you like it ... Basically, I use both of them, but especially these two were created entirely in painter.

Cheers

Many Thanks for all the nice comments!
Ok, probably that will be the back view of the character. And as I promised I added a human, so now the scales are visible. However, I didn't really want to push the sketch further in terms of details and other luxories.(I don't need that at this stage of development).

Time ... it's never enough.
Anyway, that is my final image (it isn't ready yet, I am still working on it and probably I'll need a few more touches here and there, however, soon I'll post the finished modelsheet :)

Amazing job !! This is one of the most original and creative entries I've seen this year. It looks more like an Abomination than a Demon Lord though.

Keep Up!
