I can see that your character isnt following the perspective being so tall he should taper off just like the buildings. Its hard to say anything else at this point.

yep use proportions to your advantage. Make the head smaller and the feet, legs and hands larger, one of the main principles of animation. I wish I could find an example, I know the movie Iron Giant uses these elements, but i couldnt find a screen shot....anyway goodluck.
