Hey guys, Im having some problems following this tutorial (http://www.freewebs.com/bendansie//HeadTutorial/BD_BlenderHumans.html). For some reason i cant get the image i edited to render onto the mesh nicely...it now says that there is no image to bake??...Im stuck on part 3: projecting the images

Could you please tell me where i have gone wrong.

This is what i did...
First i edited a female face and got the exact proportions of the head render. I opened it in blender from the shadings "material buttons" by making a new object. Then i went into "texture buttons" and loaded the edited image. I set the "texture tab" to load the same image under the "material buttons" section as well.

After that:
Under "Map input" i put the name of the mesh(which i renamed:face) and set it to object.

then did the UV, but saved it blank?...(like it says).

but now when i go into the 'bake' section it says no "no image found to bake?'...

Try saving the blank image first, if you havent already. Also go out of edit mode, but keep the head selected and try baking it.

Blender is sometimes abit wierd at baking objects in edit mode.

If that doesnt work head over to blenderartists and i think your looking for the artist bendaise, he should help you out more since he wrote this.

Good luck :)

In Blender, a UV Image is not the same as a Bake Image.

You have to make a blank image in UV Image Editor, and have Blender use it for the bake.
