Hell yea I want some revenge since I totaly backed out during the Myths and Legends cgchallenge.. was in a depression and didn't have any creativity.

Allright, I apologise if I have posted these the wrong way.. and if they're too big, please say so :)

So basically.. thought of a human-like demon prince with some abnormalities. I want his power to act like wings, though not maintain any certain shape.. Have many things to work out before I can start rendering the real concepts and the real character.

The wings would sweet! So far I like your full body sketch, I'm curious to see more conceptualizing on the wings. Can't wait to see that. Which torso did you like the best and might go with? The first one of the 3 is a nice form in my opinion.

I was thinking of making his wings into something like the left picture.. made out of hands, together forming wings. More concepts soon.




Since we're allowed to have a pet/ a steed of some kind.. I decided to give my demon a companion.

I love the symbolism behind swans and butterflies.. for me swans stands for unconditional love and trust.. they stick together their whole life, and if the partner dies, the other one dies of grief too.
Butterflies symbolise transformation and the soul and life itself. More explenations later.. still brainstorming stuff

Still don't know if this is going to be something he will ride on, or a pet that follows him.. or if I'll just drop the whole thing but keep the wings and give them to the demon. More to come!

I think the hands would be pretty insane detail for wings, based on your sketch, I can imagine it behind the character free flowing. Good job on the symbolism info, that helped me feel the character a great deal.

I also like the swan idea, you don't normally see them used in much :D Also, swans can be scary and badass. Ever been chased by one as a kid? With those red eyes? *fear*

Yes swans are wonderful.. I was feeding a pair some weeks ago, almost snapped my finger of, bit hold of my lump of bred and damn they're powerful! wouldn't think a bird had that much strength.
