View Full Version : Anyone using a SlingBox?

Hello all,
Just curious does anyone here own or has used a SlingBox (http://www.slingmedia.com/). I am contemplating purchasing one to watch TV in remote locations or while on my lunch at work, but was looking for some feedback or additional information. If you do have one, a few questions:
1) How is the streaming quality?
2)Any continuous technical issues?
3)How is there technical support?
4)Would you recommend it?

I was contemplating getting one a while ago. This guy I used to work with had one and would have it hooked up to this home TV (in the US) and could watch TV even when he went to Japan on a trip. It seemed to work lots better than I could have imagined it working - flipping through channels was surprisingly quick and the quality on his laptop was pretty good. But honestly with the amount of programming available online (like Hulu and other sites) I see no good reason to get one now.
