assuming you can model the geometry....its not really all that differnent in maya.

i suggest learning to use the Hypershade...how to create the materials, especially on using Ramps and Displacement geo and projections.

other then that, you can follow most of the tut using the same setups(albeit Maya terminology) for the lighting and geometry.

My advice doesnt help much....so look up some tutorials here or highend3d.com on using the aformentioned tools. Once you know the tools and interface....applying them will be easier.

the thing is I can make a shader and I can make geometry and the thing is I can't possiton it normally with my bump and color so it could look like iceberg....

when creating any procedural texture you usually also create a 2d or 3d placement node.

You see them as green wired boxes in the viewport....if you scale/translate/rotate this, you are transforming the bump map or texture..... you can select the placement node in the hypershad and it will hilight in the viewport...if you hit Y to show manipulater....you can have further control.

If your texture does not have a placement node....create one and connect it using default settings.

the noise modifier that randomizes the geometry?

in that case u would download a script on highend3d.com there are many of them that do this....
