View Full Version : Ncloth starting issue

So, I've been having this problem for the past two days. I open a scene and apply ncloth to a shirt, make the body a passive and then hit play. Nothing happens. The ncloth is just frozen in place. It no longer even follows the rig. It just sticks in space as if I duplicated it and deleted the original. This happens in ALL my scenes so far.

Sometimes when I make another object an ncloth it starts to work, but that stopped working as well. I originally thought that maybe the problem was the referencing. I have a model referenced into a rig and then the rig file referenced into the animation scene. Also, the ncloth works in the rig AND character file. I don't understand why it would mess up here.

I can deal with all the other problems in getting ncloth to work, but this is so fundamental and nothing I do seems to work. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the reply. I just checked all the fps settings and they are indeed all the same. Still no dice on getting ncloth initiated.
