CGMovement is proud to announce its first major event of the year, Anomaly 2009 (http://anomaly.cgmovement.com), in Vancouver on April 25. Please come join us for an evening of inspirations!

[Anomaly] is a fusion of an art workshop and party to be held in Vancouver on Saturday, April 25, 2009. This event will feature some of the most talented local artists and showcase live art demonstrations, keynote speakers, and a lounge party throughout the night from 6pm to 12am. The purpose of the event is to bring 2D/3D artists together and provide a platform for inspiration and creativity.

We're very happy to have Julianna Kolakis as the latest addition to our already talented line up of feature artists!

Julianna Kolakis was born and raised in Edmonton, Alberta where she started early as a traditional painter. She soon pursued digital painting and graphic design and later attended Vancouver Film School. She graduated from the 3D Animation and Visual Effects Program where she now works in the entertainment industry as a 3D Modeler and Concept Artist at Image Engine.
