Hi guys

Here is my problem, I have a elephant trunk which interacts with a tabe as it picks up some peanuts, now i was wondering if some one could give me a basic run down of how this would work?

I have the truck rigged and i just want the ends to squash agents the table, but if I turn it into a soft body i lose my rig?

I'm new with using rigid body's and soft body's, so if you could talk noob that would be great.

any help would be great, thanks :)

personally id probably try to do it with clusters, ffds or blendshapes.

but if you want to try it with softbodies ......
not sure if you need to unbind your your mesh first? Sometimes objects wont let you turn them soft if they have certain types of history/or position in hierarchy.

then select mesh.
goto your soft body options.
creation options > duplicate make copy soft.
check make non soft a goal.

then just paint the goalweigths.
or use a goalUPP/goalVPP expression.

cheers
