Hey everyone, I have a small problem, I made the deathstar in Zbrush from a primitive sphere and gave it a lot of very high poly detail and then perfectly retopoligized it to complete quads, after that I exported the lowest subdivision of the model to 3DS MAX and added UV's to create a displacement map for my low poly mesh;
My problem is that I don't know use ZMapper to create a displacement map for my low poly mesh FROM A DIFFERENT OBJECT, I only know how to create a disp' map from a model that has both the high and low divisions in the same mesh.
Any help ?

Once you exported the lowest sub-d version to max and UV'd it... you then need to reimport that object back into Zbrush. SO at the same division level you exported... import that file back in... you should how have the UV'd version of the model in zbrush and if you step up you should have all the rest of the details.

Then export your maps as normal... and just load them in max and should be working fine.

(PS - make sure all the import/export buttons in preferences are turned off)
