Very Good Start!
I like the grotesque head drawings Leonardo had been doing during his life. Will you be doing a body to go along with it?
My Francais is limited: Bon Commencement!

Wow, that's really some good work! Just add a little more detail to the wrinkles, make them slightly finer. Also take another look at the chin, the difference is biggest there.
I'm very interested in seeing how you will finally render this guy!

Good job, thjazi. Your model looks very much like the drawing you based it on. Hope to see this one finished soon.

i know its still WIP but maybe concentrating more on the eyes? the bags and wrinkles at the corners need some work on the model... really nice so far though

Absolutely amazing work. Is she going to have any hair? I think there are connotations of hair in the original image. It would give it a little more realism.
Also, I love the body, but would like to see her stomach/abdomen area bulge out a little more under the corset, like an old pudgy stomach. Just some thoughts, but its so good already, I look forward to seeing what you going to do to it next!

great modelling - frightening tittsI agree, I mean my good ness, if they fell out, it would be a swamp of skin (maybe I dunno). Nice work however, lots of character in this one

few critiques..
something in the head looks rather male than female.
and maybe applying a "taper" to the head to make the forehead less wide than the chin will match more to the picture.
Can't wait either to see it texured

looks great, though the shadow in her right nostril might be a bit to harsh, it immediately caught my eye. She sort of looks like a man, it might be in the eyes - they don't seem aged properly in comparison to the rest of the face

you're right KWAK, i'll work on nostril's shadow and i look for her eyes

Really, I think the original drawing looks pretty "mannish" - with the stretched out ears and saggy jowls. It would be hard to change that if thjazi wanted to keep to the reference pic. But I love the roundness of the face, and the details of the wrinkles.
I agree with KWAK about the eyes, they look too clear and bright. Maybe add more yellow to the whites of the eyes, and some blood vessels. Also, i think the hair is strange - it looks like really short curly hair, but I think it should be like long hair that is swept under the hat. Eyelashes might be a good idea, too.
Great work! I can't wait to see more!

Yeah I also think it might be the eyes that's causing that.
That is some really nice modelling though

ca commence a le faire serieusement la
niveau modeling :

That is coming along really nice...
Hope you don't mind a small crit though,
I would take some "artistic freedom" and change the bottom of the nostrils a little from the original concept, is just that the way the nose is right now, is not helping the rest of the forms on the face.
Either way it's up to you :D and I think the idea and the model its really great, some parts are really spot on.
Cheers,
-Alessandro

Inspirational
Lovely work and a worthy nod to Leonardo, thjazi !
Perhaps less saturation in the skin color
Agree about the darkness of the eyes (should be lighter and more glazed-over and cataracts-like)
the clavicles might need some attention at some point, otherwise looking very nice :)

ok, i change the eyes it and I'll put some blood vessels too, you're right
I look for hair too !!
Dezz >
je reguarderais pour les poches des yeux, les rendre plus naturelles, mais bon côté modeling pour la tête je ne pensais plus trop y retoucher
le nez je vais le laisser comme ça par contre ;)
Yes, I must work on shading

for this one, I'll to follow the original concept ;)

from the last render the eyes and eye brows make her seem to look a bit like a man, i didn't read through the whole WIP mabye you were going through this but that grabbed my eye, other then that nice modelling man

the other thing that might be making her masculene is the hair as well, it kind of signifies an old man. Plus her hair line would definetly not end there as well, and the sketch shows that the hair flows differently. Still great job, I might be modeling one of leo's sketches as well soon.
