Hi,
This is my first post in CGTalk and this is also my first reel. I found these forums so active that I am pretty sure that I will get a great feedback from you people.

-----------
Most of the models were made in last six months. my older works were lost due to a hard disk
crash.
Hope you people will help me improving
All C&C are welcome.
Thanks.
Will anyone pls tell me which are the models to be removed from the reel. I cannot understand which looks better. That's why I post a trial reel here with about all the average models.
Sorry for the low quality you tube version.

At first I thought: Ouuww... this is going to get ugly, but then the Audi showed up and after that everything was good as well. I personally would kick the Typo-Intro 80's style and also change the "music", because it's only a small sample/loop.

Then what is really important: In demo reels you should always put your best stuff in front - like the Audi, that should be the first image in your reel, after that the hallway anim.

What also is important, is that you maintain a certain quality. I would never have thought that the Audi R8 and the Spiderman picture at the end were from the same person. So I would really just leave the best in the reel and after that you might have only a 30sec. reel, but a very impressive 30sec one!

But you are on a very good way. ;)

PS: And always have backups and a Raid1 or Raid5 Working-HD. :D

I agree with that, the silly particles really don't help you.

good models. I just think you need working on the actual film. I felt like I was going to get sick towards the end there. If you look at the other AMAZING modeling demoreels, they use slower paces and fewer models.

Some tips, I would pick out 3 or 4 of my favorite models, and just go slower on the wireframe / occlusion / textured shots and give your possible employer some time to see it. They are playing it on fast foward any way hahaha.

I think your work has a good chance of getting you a job, just need to present it better :)
