I only have one question, why is Bitmaps larger than 3000x3000 pixels only support in the professional. Don't most digital camera produce something bigger than this.

Yes, they do, but the target resolution is usually far less than that -- not many people need images larger than 3000x3000 for a web site background, or a casual game texture. Resolutions higher than this are needed in high-end 3D visualizations, print and professional photo processing, so we reserved them for the professional edition.
