View Full Version : texture moves on a character rotation

Hi,

I'm using Maya and I planar mapped my character and when I went to render out my character in still images (having the character rotate but the camera stays still), the uvs/texture move on the 3/4 poses (rotated 45 degrees) but re-adjusts itself on the sides, front and back poses. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this.

Just shooting in the dark.
Are you using projections when you create the file node? If so you need to parent that place3dTexture to your character. Of course if you have any deformation it wont work. So use polygon UVs instead.
