This is a character I finally finished. I don't have a story to him yet, let alone a name, so for now, I'm calling him Karate Doggie. Please let me know what you think of him, like is he "cool looking." This was my first time trying to model a muscular body, so please let me know if the muscles are okay. Any critique would be fine. Thanks.

not too bad but i dont think that i would model all those wrinkles in the pants , it might not deform right when you bind it

can he O-Riu-Ken?

by the way... i think the muscles should be less blobby and the pants less "noised".

I was trying to exaggerate his muscle size and make his pants look baggy, that's why all those wrinkles are there. I plan to texture and animate him soon (hopefully). Yeah, I may tone down the feet size. Thanks.

'Think you should give his face much more expression. In karate, taekwondo and some other type of martial arts, you have to shout while doing the thing your doggie does :scream: .I'd rather see him, full frontal ,punching (other paw/hand in his side;bent knees => if you know what I mean),and having a fierce attack look on his face, that would be more logical then the way he is standing and looking now.Still think he looks nice though :wavey:

Reminds me slightly of that muscle dog in the tiny toons, anyone know what Im talking about?

That bend in the neck looks a bit strange. Also dogs dont have long toes, I think you should leave the feet the same length, but shorten the 'splits' that seperates the foot into seperate toes. I also think the noise on the pants doesnt look like the way folds would form. I think its fine to have some folds in the pants if you arent planing on using cloth simulation etc, it should be fine for a cartoony character, just doesnt look quite right now.

Are you planning on texturing him? how about some teeth?

Keep at it, there is still some things you could work on. I'm sure it'll look really cool when its done.
