If I connect the .worldSpace[0] or the .local atters of a curve's shape node to a pointOnCurveInfo node, they both seem to do the same thing. What is the difference between these two attributes?

connectAttr -f curveShape1.worldSpace[0] pointOnCurveInfo1.inputCurve;

connectAttr -f curveShape1.local pointOnCurveInfo1.inputCurve;

Thanks,
Ron

As far as I'm aware, one should return the worldSpace position of the CV's and the other is local. It should make a difference for the pointOnCurveInfo node, but only on the position attribute.

Right! It only took a simple test to confirm what you said. I should have been able to figure that out for myself.

Thanks,
Ron
