what free programs can import .m2t
all i need is to export as .tga image sequence

Hello, m2t can be imported in Premiere or After Effect CS3 without any problems.

If you're on PC, SUPER (http://www.erightsoft.com/SUPER.html). If you're on Mac, MPEG Streamclip (http://www.squared5.com/) (compatible with PC too).
Both are free.
