View Full Version : Cinematic Game Icons - Chacter - Thief Raven
kariefury 07-09-2003, 08:34 PM 1st time entering a challenge and posting. It took me forever to figure out how to post. I still don't think I can post an image.
Fantasy RPG type game with a bunch of thieves competing amongst themselves to steal the most. The more successful you are the more eye pattern's you are allowed to wear. I'm mostly finished with the chacter drawing. (I would have posted it sooner but I couldn't post then) Still working on the background or possibly keeping the one I have.

Hey there kariefury:)
To link your image from your challenge site's entry, just right click on the image (not the thumbnail), go to properties, and then highlight and select the address {URL} and copy it. Then, paste that text here between this -->

Otherwise, nice start you got there. However, for a game icon, it's kind of wierd that you have some abstract art happening in the eyes. Maybe you could make it that the eyes overlap her original eyes as a magical silhouete or something instead. However, it might be a little to late to do a major change like this:p
Otherwise, it's a really nice piece, I like how you managed to make it look dramatic with your choice of colors. Keep'em coming:wip:

hmm.... I might need to work on the eye pattern a little more. The Eyes are supposed to be magical ring's that only the most powerful thieves can use it allow's them to see without there normal eyes and in any condition.
Any idea's how to express that?

Cool, the image works now.
Otherwise, yikes, that's a real tough one to express. But if she can see in any condition, perhaps a sunny day is not the best way to portray this fact heheh. Other than that, I can not think of a way to show this eye use successfully at the moment, but, I figure they would have to glow in some form or another.
Good luck dude, you got a tough one here. I am sure you'll figure out something though.
